Dawson Studio shoes breathe new life into what already exists, pairing secondhand footwear with vintage doilies to create something entirely their own. Rather than contributing to the waste of an industry that produces far too much, each pair is made from what may otherwise be discarded, to be worn again, differently.

Every shoe is hand stitched by Lily, needle and thread only, one at a time. No pair will ever be the same. Where heel repairs are needed, shoes are taken to a cobbler before work begins to be recapped. It is a slow process, and an intentional one, in keeping with everything Dawson Studio makes.
