Zero Waste

Waste is considered at every stage of Dawson studio’s design process. Pattern pieces are carefully arranged on fabric before cutting to make the most of every centimetre, with every decision made to ensure as little is lost as possible.

Where fabric scraps do exist, nothing is discarded. Dawson bags utilise both larger remnants and the smallest of fabric trimmings, and offcuts from the pattern making process are shredded and hydrated to create paper for swing tags and care labels, ensuring Dawson remains a zero waste label from first cut to final stitch.
